Mahamaya Shiksha Parishad’s flagship initiative, Mission Education, is a comprehensive programme designed to uplift underprivileged children by addressing their core needs of education, nutrition, and overall wellness. We believe that every child, regardless of their background or circumstances, deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and lead a dignified life.
The programme is thoughtfully aligned with the New Education Policy (2020) as well as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4), which emphasizes inclusive and equitable quality education and the promotion of lifelong learning opportunities for all.
- Through Mission Education, we reach out to children between the ages of 3 to 18 years, covering some of the most vulnerable sections of society. This includes:
- Children from economically weaker families who are unable to access quality education.
- Differently-abled children who require special care and support.
- Children affected by disasters, displacement, or other unforeseen crises.
- Abandoned and street children who are deprived of even the most basic facilities.
- Children belonging to tribal communities, remote villages, and other underserved or hard-to-reach regions.
By integrating formal education with nutrition, healthcare, and life-skills support, Mission Education not only enhances learning outcomes but also nurtures the holistic development of every child. Our focus goes beyond classroom teaching—ensuring that children are healthy, confident, and equipped to face life with resilience.
At Mahamaya Shiksha Parishad, we strongly believe that education is the most powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty. Through Mission Education, we strive to create a generation of empowered individuals who will lead their families and communities towards a brighter and more equitable future.
