This young workforce has the potential to drive the nation’s growth, but employability remains a challenge. While the GDP continues to rise steadily, employment opportunities have not kept pace, and studies show that only 10% of graduates are truly employable with industry-relevant skills.

At Mahamaya Shiksha Parishad (MSP), we believe that the key to bridging this gap lies in skill development linked to employment opportunities. By equipping young people with practical, market-oriented training, we not only enhance their career prospects but also empower them to secure sustainable livelihoods for themselves and their families.

Our Training & Placement Initiatives

1. Vocational Training Programmes

We conduct structured vocational training in various trades including tailoring, computer skills, retail, hospitality, healthcare, and more. These programmes are designed to match current market demand and are inclusive of youth from rural, tribal, and economically weaker backgrounds.

2. Digital & Computer Literacy

In today’s digital economy, computer literacy is a necessity. MSP runs basic and advanced computer training programmes, especially targeting rural youth, to prepare them for jobs in IT-enabled services, administration, and office management.

3. Women Empowerment through Skill Development

Special training modules are dedicated to women and young girls, enabling them to learn income-generating skills such as sewing, handicrafts, entrepreneurship, and digital literacy, helping them achieve financial independence.

4. Placement Support & Job Linkages

Training is only the first step. MSP also provides placement assistance by partnering with industries, corporates, and small enterprises. Our dedicated team ensures that trained candidates are guided towards permanent employment opportunities or support for self-employment.

5. Entrepreneurship Development

Along with employment readiness, we encourage youth to become entrepreneurs by supporting them with mentorship, financial literacy, and connections to micro-finance and start-up opportunities.

Impact So Far

Since inception, MSP has been actively engaged in training and placing hundreds of youth and women from rural and marginalized communities. Many of our beneficiaries have secured jobs in sectors like manufacturing, services, IT, healthcare, and apparel, while others have started their own ventures—proving that skill training creates pathways to dignity and self-reliance.
